Official show rules, registration information and forms may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 (email information@ticaeo.com) or viewed on their website at www.tica.org.

Payment: By entering the show, you agree to pay all fees whether you attend the show or not. All payments are due prior to Check-In unless previous arrangements have been made with the Show Manager. There will be a $25.00 charge for entries paid at Check-In. NSF checks and fees owed due to failure to bench will be reported to TICA in accordance with Show Rule 24.4.

Registration: With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in a cat's first show. However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional / International awards, all cats must be registered by their second show. Please contact TICA for registration forms and information (TICA, P. O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551). All Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits entries must have a TICA registration number to be shown.

Health: This is a non–vetted show. Any cat showing signs of illness, parasites or fungus will be escorted from the show hall, along with any cats owned, housed or augmented by the same exhibitor. All entries should be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calici and distemper (panleukopenia) at least two weeks prior to the show, and should test negative for feline leukemia and FIV (“feline AIDS”). Any feline from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within twenty-one days prior to the opening day of the show is ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or lactating cat will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging.

For Sale: For sale cage spaces may be purchased. Bring on your kittens! See summary form for prices for sale and exhibition cages.

Kittens: All kittens entered for competition must be at least four (4) and less than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show. No kitten under three (3) months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to show proof of age). Kittens may be spayed or neutered.

Household Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed at the time of rescue. Household pets eight (8) months of age and older MUST be spayed or neutered.

Caging: This is a "Bring Your Own Cage Show"…each cat entered will be allotted a 24" space to bench in. If your cage will not fit in a 24" space, you must purchase an extra half-cage space, which is an additional 24". See summary sheet for prices. We will not have any wire cages available, but we will sell pop-up tents for $20 to exhibitors which they may keep at the end of the show. Tents will fit in a single space

Supplies: Cat litter will be available, but please bring your own litter pan and food and water dishes! People food will be available from the concession in the show hall.

Clerks / Stewards: Please indicate on the Summary Form if you will be available to clerk. Ring clerks will be paid $30 per session, provided lunch and a marked catalog. Ring clerks will be assigned when entries have closed. Requests to clerk are not guarantees of assignment. DO NOT DEDUCT CLERKING FEES FROM ENTRY FEES. Compensation will be made at the end of the show. Stewards will be compensated $10 per session and provided lunch.

Awards: Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with TICA show rules.

Ring Sponsorships: Ring Sponsorships are available for $30.00 per judge. Each ring sponsor will receive recognition in the ring and in the show catalog. We will accept multiple sponsorships per ring.
