Show
Rules: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering,
exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show
committee. Official show rules, registration information and forms
may be obtained from TICA,
P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551 or viewed on their website
at www.tica.org.
Payment:
We accept checks, money orders and PayPal. Please use email
address austincf@austin.rr.com for PayPal. Checks and money
orders should be mailed to the entry clerk. All payments are due
prior to Check-In unless previous arrangements have been made
with the Show Manager. There will be a $25.00 charge for entries
paid at Check-In. NSF checks and fees owed due to failure to bench
will be reported to TICA in accordance with Show Rule 24.4.
Registration:
With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed,
Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with
TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat's first show. However,
to be scored for TICA titles and Regional / International awards,
all cats must be registered by their second show. Please contact
TICA for registration forms and information (TICA, P. O. Box 2684,
Harlingen, TX 78551). All Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New
Breed, and New Traits entries must have a TICA registration number
to be shown.
Health:
This is a nonvetted show. Any cat showing signs of illness,
parasites or fungus will be escorted from the show hall, along
with any cats owned, housed or augmented by the same exhibitor.
All entries should be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis,
calici, distemper (panleukopenia) and at least 21 days prior to
the show, and should test negative for feline leukemia and FIV
(feline AIDS). Be prepared to show proof of rabies
vaccination. It is state law. TICA show rules require all
claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging.
For
Sale: For sale cage spaces may be purchased. Bring on your
kittens! See summary form for prices for sale and exhibition cages.
Kittens:
All kittens entered for competition must be at least four
(4) and not more than eight (8) calendar months old on the
day of the show. Kittens may be spayed or neutered.
Household
Pets: Household pets are very welcome at this show! Declawed
Household Pets are OK at TICA shows. This is due to the number
of HHPs that are rescue cats and may have already been declawed
at the time of rescue. Household pets over 8 months of age MUST
be spayed or neutered.
Caging:
This is a "Bring Your Own Cage Show"
each cat entered
will be allotted a 24" space to bench in. If your cage will
not fit in a 24" space, you must purchase an extra half-cage
space, which is an additional 24". See summary sheet for
prices. We will have no wire cages available, but we will sell
pop-up tents for $20 to exhibitors which they may keep at the
end of the show. Tents
will fit in a single space
Supplies:
Cat litter will be available, but please bring your own litter
pan and food and water dishes! People food will be available
from the concession in the show hall.
Clerks
/ Stewards: Please indicate on the Summary Form if you will
be available to clerk. Ring clerks will be paid $30 per session,
provided lunch and a marked catalog. Ring clerks will be assigned
when entries have closed. Requests to clerk are not guarantees
of assignment. DO NOT DEDUCT CLERKING FEES FROM ENTRY FEES. Compensation
will be made at the end of the show. Stewards will be compensated
$12 per session and provided lunch.
Awards:
Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with TICA show rules.

Sponsorships: Ring Sponsorships are available for $30.00 per
